Where are your products made?
All of our soaps are made in small batches in breathtaking Northern California.
Are your products cruelty free?
Our entire line of products is cruelty free and Certified Leaping Bunny (read more here https://www.leapingbunny.org/).
Are your products vegan?
Yes with the exception for our paw pads & nose balm in which we use beeswax and our silky & long coat soap in which we use honey. If in doubt please always feel free to reach out to us at hello@dogality.us
Do your products contain artificial colors or fragrances?
We do not use artificial colors, dyes or fragrances in any of our products. We use only unadulterated essential oils for a spa-like experience and to give an aroma-therapeutic scent profile to our blends. The colors that you can see in our products are sourced from botanicals and herbs.
Are your products hypoallergenic?
Our products are made with pure, plant-based and human-grade ingredients in a very mild and extra-gentle formula, however, we recommend doing a patch test on your dog's skin when using any new product.
What makes your products different from other store brands?
First of all, our products are 100% Human-Grade and free of Parabens & Synthetics, SLS and artificial colorants (we in fact only use natural pigments).
To make our soaps we also use a cold process method that is extremely different from common industrial-made soaps. Our soaps are in fact superfatted and the glycerin is left which acts as a moisturizing agent. Superfatted soap work with the glycerin to serve as natural humectants to hydrate and soften skin. We use premium select oils as our raw material.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, other commercial soap brands are made in large batches in a mechanized extrusion process where the glycerin is removed and fillers and synthetic detergents are added. Commercial soap manufacturers have the ability to recover and purify glycerin, which is then sold separately. Most of these manufacturers use stock soap bases and then add additives to differentiate the product for the specific brands they manufacture.
Why do I seem to be running out of my bar so quickly?
Don’t hold the bar under water, or leave it in a wet area, because it will dissolve much faster. In fact, we highly recommend to store your bar on our diatomite tray or in a place that is not in direct contact with water to avoid it melting, or rest it in a place where it can be left to dry.
What is the source of your vitamin E?
We include Vitamin E in our formulations as a natural preservative and it's our first choice over synthetic preservatives. As our products are anhydrous, it is the most natural ingredient possible. It is in our products at an amount no greater than 1%.
Our Natural Vitamin E (d-Alpha Tocopherol) is sourced in the USA and derived from edible vegetable oils (specifically, sunflower to a mix of sunflower and safflower oils) as supplies fluctuate. We choose not to use Vitamin E sourced from soy. Our Vitamin E is certified GMO, wheat free and gluten free. In addition, this product complies with current FCC and USP Vitamin E preparation "FOOD/SUPPLEMENT GRADE" monographs.
Do you use preservatives?
No we don’t. Our bars are made with pure essential oils, botanicals and sustainable butters.
Free of Parabens & Synthetics, SLS and artificial colorants, we in fact only use natural pigments.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Approximately three years. Certain environmental factors, such as extreme temperatures and humidity, will affect the shelf life of our products. It is best to store our conditioners and balms in a cool location. There is no need to refrigerate our products.
B. ORDER STATUS & SHIPPING
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Unfortunately not yet! At the moment we only ship within the United States, but we hope to bring dogality internationally. Drop us a DM on our instagram @dogality.us to let us know where you are located.
How do you pack your product?
Your order will be shipped in a cardboard recyclable box with paper tape and paper 'bubble wrap' which you can repurpose and recycle. Our shipping labels are recyclable and we are actively working with our Japanese towel manufacturer to offer compostable packaging/bags for those precious towels.
Can I make changes to my order?
Unfortunately once your order has been placed, please note that due to our system set up we are unable to make any changes to orders. Thank you for your understanding in this sensitive matter.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Please allow 3-5 days for order processing and an additional 3-6 business days for shipping, depending on your location. We assure you that we do our best to fulfill orders as quickly as possible!

Do you offer returns/exchanges?
Unfortunately we are not able to accept returns. However, if you have any issues whatsoever with your order, we will always work to make it right! Just shoot us a note at hello@dogality.us
